Talk-A-Bot is looking for a Product Manager to join our team and play a critical role in defining and delivering our strategic priorities for our flagship product: CHEQ (cheqbot.com). We want someone who wants to work with passion, dedication and discipline. Someone who cares deeply about understanding our customers and partners internationally and who takes pride in building awesome products. 

Product Management plays a central role in driving product prioritization along with business objectives harmonizing user experience with engineering in close cooperation with go-to-market teams. CHEQ team works across all levels of Talk-A-Bot and our customer’s organizations; engaging with executive stakeholders and with highly technical developers and practitioners. 

MEANINGFUL ROLE

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the product team to specify and prioritize the development of the product roadmap supported by business strategy, user and market research and knowledge of customers and competitors.

You will be accountable for the growth and success of the products by working with developers, marketing, and partner organizations to develop excellent go-to-market strategies. You will be the thought leader in product management to identify trends for current technologies relevant to your product portfolio.  Your responsibilities will include interfacing and building key relationships within the industry to build and deliver prioritized product roadmaps and continually improve products.

You will actively measure and analyze existing products and market trends for opportunities to innovate and improve. 

Lastly, you will lead innovation in product sales, customer loyalty and retention.  You will think creatively to deliver a market-leading product that creates a rapid impact.

EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS, QUALITIES

  • Multi-disciplinary academic background. Business development, HR, IT and Marketing related fields preferred
  • 4-6 years of working experience in a product function, technology and/or consulting with a focus on the HR Tech industry
  • Deep experience in digital product development and international software distribution
  • A self-motivated person with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment and can create operational plans to meet strategic targets.
  • Experience with enabling business capability and objectives through technology
  • Entrepreneurial (or Intrapreneurial) mindset

BONUS (Not Required)

  • Working knowledge of agile software delivery with an understanding of Enterprise IT, DevOps or relevant tools.

  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
  • Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

  • Technical operations including troubleshooting and software

EXPECTATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in Java / JEE
  • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Strong Spring framework knwowledge
  • Experience in/with:
    • REST based web services (Server and Client)
    • writing SQL queries
    • version control system
    • IDE
    • application server
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to nail down tricky
    problems
  • DevOps (CI) skills for personal environment management
  • Constructivity in identifying and solving technical problems

GOOD TO HAVE

  • PostgreSQL, Tomcat, git, Eclipse, VueJS, Angular
  • Interest in language morphologic processing, machine
    learning, neural network
  • Experience working with software development lifecycle
    including ticketing systems (JIRA) and collaboration tools
    (CONFLUENCE)
  • Agile, Scrum experience

YOUR TASK WILL BE:

  1. Review customer orders and plan and coordinate delivery activities
  2. Build positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth.
  3. Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion.
  4. Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs.
  5. Analyze customer orders, set delivery priorities and make schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals.
