Our team located in downtown Budapest is looking for a Finance manager who brings high-level financial expertise and is willing to grow with the company.

As a Finance manager, you will lead the finance and back-office department of our fast growing company. Be part of an innovative tech company during exciting times as we’re becoming more international and export oriented. You will be expected to utilize your strong skills in finance, controlling and business planning, and you will certainly grow with the company as we face new challenges, countries, cultures, customers, investors, etc.

Manage, operate

Oversee, manage and operate the finance-, and back-office processes of the company. Liaising with the accountant and auditor, overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual closings. The team currently consist of an office manager, a lawyer and the accounting firm of the company. Control the bank account and the cash flow of the company.

Controlling, optimization

Develop and operate controlling processes and systems. Support management from a financial and controlling point of view. Participate in the optimization and the definition of the company rules and regulations, initiate and propose changes.

Reporting

Fulfilling the formal reporting obligations of the company towards the investors and the management

Planning

Participate in the business planning, financial planning and the preparation of financial statements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics, finance or accounting
• At least 7 years’ experience in finance and/or controlling, including at least 2 years in a managerial position
• Structured, systems-oriented thinking
• Self-motivated, creative attitude
• Good analytical skills Practical, flexible, “can do” attitude
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Gsuite
• Hungarian and English language skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience at a startup or a multi-country SMB firm
• Qualifications in accountancy or taxation

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter> Install and configure software and hardware
• Manage network servers, printers, scanners and technology tools
• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
• Set up accounts and workstations
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution with new releases and models
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

EXPECTATIONS

• At least secondary level education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
• 1+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Unix (Linux) Knowledge
• Virtualisation
• User Support
• IT Network SOHO knowledge
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• At least communication level English language knowledge is a must, in order to support foreign employees
• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
• DevOps Experience is an advantage
• Required language level: English – intermediate / communication
